# A boycott needs economic power

Restored from Instagram stories · 1 September 2024

socialists are stupid. if you’ve to make boycotts work, you’ve to be their biggest money maker.

you need capital to move markets.

boycotts won’t work in middle east. why? because it barely causes a dent to the u.s companies.

you’ll end up closing franchisee (s) operating in your country and thousands of low income minimum wage earners will get laid off.

that’s what your boycott does.

your movement has to be popular among americans for the boycott to succeed.

the college going kids are neck high up in loans and they do hourly wage jobs to live month to month.

what are they gonna do?

true boycotts? piss off a bunch of partisan crowd like how budweiser did with conservatives. crashed sales like heavy.

john deere? how many companies did they force to remove dei?

that’s where boycotts work. capitalism has enabled them to buy shares, move markets, there are equivalent alternatives they can go to.

your middle east place or your poor local gdp country? that’s the only fast food you can ever go to.

wonder where the pepsi coca-cola boycott went during jallikattu? most won’t even remember it.

two news cycles and they can be flashed like a baby. boycotts will work if you stop being poor.
