# Who benefits from the degree you are told to choose?

career counselling is one of the biggest lobbying movement that ever happened especially in the southern educational rich, poverty fetish sambharland and it's other adjacent states in the last two decades.

let me elaborate.

in the early 90s, many IT companies figured that they can bill cheap engineering resources in India if they can have lot of engineers. the demand's price is less when the supply is enormously large while the number of opportunities are very less.

so, what happens is that - more number of people that are there for limited jobs, the lesser they'd be willing to be compensated for the job.

so, the first thing the IT companies did was to sponsor career counselling sessions in hands with big institutions which also wanted to fill it's seats.

career counselors today are also agents (i call them the agents of death), for colleges and institutions to fulfil an agenda.

they're being used to sell a dream to the parents and the kids - that choosing this, leads you to be more successful.

do you know how they back that with ?

the same IT companies sponsored numerous psychologists to take biased research that comes out with results in their favor and they use these one-dimensional psychometric analysis to convince people as if science backs their manipulative idea.

the fact that they ensure that everyone listens to them is by establishing authority.

by telling how wrong you are before coming to the actual point is a manipulative behavior of ensuring that you agree with whatever they say.

(they've already established what you've said is wrong. so, you are less likely to defend against it) - read point 01 in previous section again.
