# The value of a real conversation

as internet access gets free, technological progress increases, people will lose their ability to hold a conversation in real life.

anyone who can hold off a conversation with another person in public will automatically have high value since it would be considered a rare skill.

people will fall in love with the same.

this also corresponds to the gen-z's affinity towards people who talk. if you're someone who's doing podcasts and are enjoying a large audience, please monetize it asap.

move to YouTube or similar platforms which pays you. spotify's number doesn't mean anything unless it pays like yt.

no, this won't stop me from dissing content creators who are thinking that this is a career.

it's not and you're fooling yourself. creating content requires the least effort per reward received in terms of IQ points necessary. it's not STEM.

though it does require insane consistency and patience which are still rare qualities.

the average IQ point that's consuming mainstream Indian content post Jio's internet explosion is anywhere between 90-95 points.

i have seen average IQ points drop down to 80 in some areas of the internet which I'd ignore for now.

but, with the next 1 Billion users (so much still do not have access to internet in india) coming into internet and as internet becomes far more accessible, the average IQ point of those who are using will drop down to 80.

India's average IQ is at 75 - which means it doesn't take much intelligence to create content and gather a following.

as much as I've already pointed out, majority of content creation is of sub-par quality and much more are full of misinformation which you used to see in whatsApp forwards before jio's internet explosion.

we used to diss them off as whatsapp University but it's mainstream content now as those who were sending those whatsApp forwards are right now in content creation field.

there's a reason why i am stressing on this.

focus on your stem education.

content creation is going to become mainstream. but that doesn't mean it requires higher intelligence to do the same.

so what will happen when it becomes mainstream?

i give it max 5 years before it becomes too saturated and worthless. most content creators would be reproducable with AI and with money not coming in, much of these content creators would be forced to drop-off.

so go back to your STEM studies.

and learn inter-personal skills in real life. not many people are going to have that in the next 5-6 years.

it's not like i am not noticing the drop in IRL inter-personal connections in gen-z

gen-z men here don't even know how to talk to women in real life. they don't know how to approach a mademoiselle in real life, don't know how to ask them out, don't know if they're in desperate friendzone, don't know when to stop and when not to, and pass of as a total creep.

this is here in india. but for that matter, it's not like the other generations are better, but I haven't seen them being this worse!

in america, it's a different ball-game altogether. might explain them some other day where I can do that in a not-so open platform

but all points towards one thing.

inter-personal communication skills are dropping off like crazy and anyone who knows how to do that has an insane edge.
