a rich guy's advise on society almost always invariably consists of an appeal to the others to stay out of their exploitation of the weak, the poor and those who can.
a middle class person's advise on the welfare of the poor almost always involves heavy virtue signalling with no practical solution that will solve their problem.
the poor will get affected by the virtue of the middle class.
the rich guy is america.
the middle class are the europeans. you know what they did with phasing out the nuclear energy, green energy bs and bringing them back when push comes to shove.
we all know the poor ones.
the rich guy are the big capitalist companies.
the middle class are champagne socialists seeking high wages for flipping burgers at a mcdonalds and increase minimum wage for basically an industry which pays part time for students to earn some side cash.
the poor are those part timer students who're flipping burgers replaced by machines. when expense hits over a redline, they'll see if 5 years worth of your payroll can fund a machine that can 24/7 and will replace you.
the rich guy is the gig worker companies.
the middle class are internet virtue signallers who cannot give jobs to the massive unemployed youth. ends up over regulating an industry which pays more than standard unemployment or any 100 day govt job scheme.
the poor are the gig workers who'll lose the jobs since the rich guys will respond to overregulation by taking their investment elsewhere or will replace them through machines.
massive unemployment will almost always result in anarchy, unrest and a sharp increase in crime.
the ones who'll get affected? the poor.
so if you're a virtue signaller with no actual solution, stfu. shut the foooookk up.
do not mistake me for those fools who argue that the companies are benevolent gods.
my first premise is that exploitation exists. it is what it is. arbitrage in any business is real and it is how it works.
are these companies running the biggest welfare check, easy to access, minimum wage job that pays close to 25k inr per month? yes.
do we've enough jobs to replace that and pay the same? no.
until we get there, listen to my advise. stfu.
i think i've written before what this gig working companies have done to manufacturing companies and local businesses.
although earning quite well for themselves, these small businesses and local manufacturing companies used to pay 6k inr, 8k, and max 10-12k inr for employees.
when these gig work came, people started going for them instead of coming to work here. they had a hard time hiring people. the most easiest job to onboard with the least rejection rate.
i think i wrote about this. i smiled when i saw a tea shop+bakery listed a front facing job for 18k-20k inr for a 12 hr job. i spoke with the guy who runs it. told me he can afford it and it's the only way he can get good people who would rather choose a gig job to this.
so many other manufacturing companies started increasing their salaries. you wouldn't believe who strongly hates these gig companies. these owners lmfao.
this will lead to a permanent salary increase in a lot of places who were resistant to this. more of this needs to happen.
