When outrage becomes a media business

Restored from Instagram posts ·

i sometimes believe that people aren't dumb. they just don't have a better understanding of what fact is presented to them.

then,

i go to twitter and see the comments on a piece of purposefully false information. often found in indian political scene and other episodes also.

i am always shocked on how many people have their critical thinking attribute set to literal ZERO.

you'll never have to wonder how fake news spreads. these idiots are eager to take anything as offered and quickly accept it as true.

it's either that, or they do intentionally spread that because they don't like them.

hate a person for their deeds and never them personally.

so many of you know how i show my disdain and disgust for third rate media channels that operate out of youtube in TN.

i do that often and i do not like them to the core and i've never given an interview to them

(infact i rarely do and i rarely accept college invitations unless it creates any meaningful impact - it takes my time away from my office and that's where i'd love to be)

there's a particular reason for it. these media channels (whom i've previously explained why they have to stay biased because media channels rarely have a business model where they can self sustain and print cash by themselves), profit off popular individuals whom they can cash in.

@madangowri recently got caught in a controversy

TLDR: people became angry when he told his opinion that the BBC doc. is an attack on india and it's an internal stuff and foreign peeps shouldn't voice out their opinion.

let it be wrong. let it be criticized. after all, it's an opinion of an individual and it's bound to get criticized. he was also pulled up for his previous statements on admiring Modi.

he got bashed. totally fine.

let's see this. madan accepts invitation from galatta media for their awards.

i'll diss their awards later.

galatta made money by doing the awards show. they made further money by putting it on every media and they gave vicious strikes to anyone who even showed a small clip during that awards timeline.

then, on the exact day madan was being bashed on the internet, galatta released the clip where madan gowri was admiring modi, memed it (trolling him) and started making money of that too.

how low can these people get ?

they'll make money when a person dies by putting the same clips, stick a bunch of ads there.

lowest of the lowest scum in the face of planet earth.
