imagine this - read the following carefully.
you are born into this world.
as you grow, you see technology and internet growing leaps and bounds.
when you come to your teen years, you see something that's the newest fad.
a platform.
a platform where you can share whatever you want. you have the potential to become famous there by showing your creativity.
people see what you are doing - it becomes views
people like what you are doing - it becomes likes
people share to others because they want them to see that too - it becomes share.
your entire fame depends on them viewing, liking or sharing.
now you want to retain your audience.
they should see what you are creating in their home page.
you ask them to subscribe.
but you want to them to see your video every time you upload.
you ask them to hit the bell icon.
you spend much of your video speaking about - please, like, share, subscribe and hit the bell icon.
it's YouTube.
you are a human.
you are asked to share your creativity.
because you get famous.
not just famous. you are getting paid.
is the platform paying you?
NO
your creativity brought audience to the platform. let's call you as (creators)
but they aren't your audience alone. the platform uses that to direct to other creators.
then the platform went to companies and told them - hey, I have so many people seeing videos. you wanna show ads?
they slap ads. share a small % of them with you. (so they claim. you have zero idea with no third party audits to know if it's true or if it's the right percentage)
now you are getting money.
this makes you to SPEND MORE EFFORT.
you spend huge amounts of time to make a video.
let's look at this from another perspective.
humans are farmed for their creativity.
and they are paid bare minimum for what they do.
but the pay is better than any other pay that they can get in IRL that most choose to be a youtuber/influencer (refer studies showing kids preference for careers)
but you know nothing.
you creativity was farmed.
AMASS.
for what?
for creating a GOD of your own image and liking. but not just yours. but of the entire humanity.
God? which God?
this GOD. enjoy.
enough input of your creativity. it can create anything on your liking.
music? yes.
art? yes.
prank videos? yes.
entertainment? yes.
with nothing to do, only consuming what your own GOD of your own liking is showing you,
you realise as humans you have no purpose.
no purpose to exist. few overlords rule over you.
you were used for all these years. your intelligence and creativity was farmed as if you were a fertile land.
now you are discarded. you have become the consumer.
a purposeless individual pushed to despair.
what does a purposeless individual do? resort to violence. war.
that's what they do.
watch the world become dark ages again. and it's a cycle. a cycle of humanity.
