can the rich stop showing their douchebaggery in ig, please?
especially those who are super accomplished in their field and auto - demand respect. quit the platform.
these guys, respected in real life in their fields. people open their doors, they are treated kindly, people do favors, people call them sir and Madam, they beg for their presence.
now these people don't just want that. their egos aren't satisfied. now they want to become some kind of an authority in social media.
they want to be respected. they want their words to be taken as gold. absolute thought leaders with everyone congratulating them
they started it in LinkedIn where everyone started simping for them in the comment section.
ofcourse they'll do. everyone is there in LinkedIn for a favor
now these guys are all greedy.
they want to try it in Instagram. they understand posting reels gets them viral.
until they come to the wrong set of audience who don't give a f**k who they are in the real world.
these guys thought they can get away by saying positivity positivity positive energy blah blah blooh bleh.
no, you won't earn any respect.
half of the people following you? they're all waiting for you to slip so they can rip you to shreds.
they're all silently pissed at you for all the douchebaggery you do with your reels, the background music you guys put for your own reels when you're walking, the show-off of your personal assets.
they see you converting your social media popularity into your own bragging contests with in real life events.
slip a little and you'd be forever known as a scam. a little google search of whatever you do? SLAPPED AS SCAM.
if you want to save whatever reputation you've got, quit your social media or turn it over to professional managers and leave.
people ain't gonna see into the content what you're accused with. the title and the description is enough to slander your name whenever someone who wants to associate with you checks out your name.
again, trust me.
you guys know nothing about connecting to real people. connecting with people without showing your credentials.
you are NOTHING WITHOUT YOUR CREDENTIALS. you do not command respect for what you are or what you did.
because you don't treat people as people.
if you do want to save whatever reputation you got, quit.
or continue to do this tomfoolery if you want to gamble with your reputation and I guarantee you that it ain't gonna end well.
Adding an addendum for you rich accomplished douchebags. your PR must have given this advice to you. since they didn't, take this.
there's a reason why there's a saying
"you should never meet your heroes"
the rich, the ultra rich and everyone you know cemented their legacy and their deeds with news from philanthropy, articles reported by news media. careful interviews which portrays them the way they want.
you want to know their personal life? only a biography would do that.
you're a legend? perhaps a movie.
everything you knew about them only came from that.
yet, here you are in Instagram doing reels like a freaking 90 IQ monkey dancing to a reel and doing a cringe walk like a movie hero.
no one knows the douchebaggery the rich did or their inability to talk to real people on ground.
but you,
oh my. you guys open up everything on instagram.
the old guys? you wanna meet them? careful meet and greets in balls and dinners. you get to meet them if you're there. that's it.
you never meet your heroes anywhere else. they maintained their image.
but you? your douchebaggery is known everywhere.
keep throwing those workshops,
keep throwing those meet and greets,
keep attracting your own set of influencers with your money to keep around you and build your relevance.
trust me - you'll be dragged down to the mud and will be spat on.
mostly because you deserve it. you deserve every hate. all because of your own want of fame to satisfy your ego and earn more money as if what you earned in your professional life isn't enough.
and all these entrepreneur and professional types trying to enter into creator types?
trust me. as much as i diss creators usually,
you'd never earn the respect, love and trust what a creator or a meme guy earns here.
they earned their audience not through their real life credentials but through what they did here.
