when this guy posted this, i was in huge uproar and i was heavily mad.
there’s a particular reason for this.
let’s keep aside the fact that ive always hated nandan due to the shadow power he holds with aadhar and other things especially in bengaluru.
it’s the fact that there’s a special breed of people in india,
who became extremely rich not because of them but someone else (i’ll talk about him later) who rallied indian it companies to global map.
one such guy is this guy. infosys.
but they never put back their wealth back into the society to build more companies. they never did. they never invested back heavily. they never bred an ai company in india when openai existed there as a non profit during those days. they know what it was going to be.
they were super selfish on making hay while the sun shines and make as much money as possible without thinking of a longer way for making the golden goose live. they just wanted to squeeze and exploit the golden goose to take as much eggs as possible in a short time.
these special breed of guys became the biggest lobbyists heard and respected by the unelected shadow government (the ias class) and thus immediately by the elected government regardless of who it is.
and finally when india had the chance to do this and they were assembling momentum, these special breed of guys spearheaded by nandan came and lobbied everyone telling them there’s zero need to build one and we can share what the americans are building.

it just frustrates me that the amount of people who can spot such snakes in india are too low and before they can even be identified and told to the public, the snakes are potent enough to complete the damage.
don’t tell me sarvam is our answer. check their biggest investors. again, americans. khosla.
and they’ve no multimodal tool calling models which are on the league of frontier labs.
i don’t even have to mention this since it’s obvious but had to.
