let me give you even more insights.
i predominantly work out with the tier-3,4,5 crowd and let me draw some brutal truth. it's upto you to take it more effectively.
i have long stayed out of discussing politics or even passing a comment on that, because it's beneath me. it's a chess. i don't play chess. i move and i see.
but i can't just see that the players are making bad moves everywhere. Because the sufferers aren't chess pieces, but actual people for the actions of someone else.
The Right in India for long has been held hostage by its far left counterparts who are super successful in gas-lighting the insecurities, the stuff which they are afraid of (which might affect them) of the general public through media, movies and TV. They are stoking the fear so that any extremist action on the other side doesn't evoke feelings or even bare basic human sympathy.
their playbook is wide and open and it's nothing different than what you have read in history. They have started doing the same gas-lighting here in TN too through movies (i don't have to tell which one) and it will spread insecurity like a slow poison here.
if you can't see that more people are becoming conservative especially in tamilnadu and are slowly aligning with the principles of the far right and are closing their eyes to what the far right is doing without having any problems - you are blind.
The right came to power because of those who wanted more flexibility on a capitalistic economy.
They have lost their support - but can still win elections because they have got a new support. Everyone from tier-3,4 places and every rural people.
The same playbook is being played by the right in TN. every village is getting conservative stronger and stronger.
let's go to the left end of the spectrum.
the OG left movement has long been hijacked by far-left people after the jio - internet boost. The left have forgotten their grass roots and their connections with actual people on ground. The only left connection in ground that we see in News from prominent left parties are those who go when an actual problem happens to someone downtrodden. Or, they give voices in the internet/rarely on ground for people who do protest or gather crowds and get arrested without even a trial for a long time.
The left right now think that they can win the battles in the internet - the 16 yo thinking about woke stuff on the internet is where left believes the fight is.
India isn't America. voters are primarily influenced by those who are on the ground with most families voting based on what the Father tells where the vote is. Where the boomers who aren't in social media rule the ground.
During the course of me talking to a lot of people, i came to the understanding that the left no longer campaigns on ground, talk with people - except during election times. They literally have zero ways of strengthening their ideology on ground and believe internet is what can give them the win.
The far right is pacifying people on ground. They are working super hard going through every villages, stoking their insecurity wherever a man would be afraid of. They even go to the extreme of showing alarming truths about what might happen if another religion increases in their area.
they are showing to that man, that he can lose his family, his precious children, his wife, his property and everything.
That fear that they stoke, the insecurity that they are seeding has long grown into saplings. within the next 10 years, if the saplings grow into trees and if they bear fruits,
they'll dominate the lakes and all that gives water in TN.

I live comfortably in Pondy. People here carry loyalties towards their MLAs (that's why bjp simply bought their loyalty here to win). The tide can be changed here.
if the left doesn't stop with their savarna elitist leftist woke politics that they are carrying now,
they'll lose every state and TN will fall.
not worried about Kerala though. They are very strong there. will take atleast 3 decades to even knock the door there.
For TN, positively - only a decade left. watch it out.
if i can make an analysis out of research purely for purposes which aren't even connected to this,
the fact is - actual politicians know about it. Politicians on the left who are for the ideology are long gone. The rest are there just to play the game of who can earn the quickest to settle their families on generational wealth.
make no mistake. you are the pawn in this chess board.
