i am sorry. with charlie kirk’s murder - this is so bad. america is going to turn hard right even more. this is so so sooooo bad at levels you can’t fathom.
the left in the usa is a lost cause. deeply disappointed and ashamed. yikes.
idc if someone’s left or right. i deeply respect someone who can have a discourse. charlie did that. he did campus tours. object to him politically but damn.
30 million youngsters are going to get radicalized heavily. charlie was the last guy who literally believed in debate. he’s literally the moderate in right. if you think he’s not moderate, the next guy will leave no doubt.
there goes every attempt at moderate politics. i wrote hard against allowing extremism, this is exactly why.
the dems are a lost cause now. over.
this is political naivety. mostly political opinions formed from online personalities. charlie kirk has a huge click farm campaign that actively posts every debate he posts thus amplifying his presence.
trust me. he’s the moderate. he’s the only one who’ll debate with the left. only one who’ll welcome a debate. the far right doesn’t. you’ve zero idea how radicalized they’re.
people in a society tend to have political opinions. and we make sure that a society is peaceful by ensuring that we moderate it.
most leftist ideals are great. and you’d have seen me advocate them. and our job is to ensure that people don’t get more radicalized and bring people who become more far right and radicalized into moderates and centre left.
we talk to them, hey that’s ok. this is individual freedom. so what if people do this? let’s take a moderate position. let’s do this instead of that.
and extremists at both ends will sabotage it and i see this as exactly that. so many youth who traditionally used to be left during their college times are suddenly right. when major efforts are going into make sure that the culture doesn’t turn to extreme conservatism, you just sent them all to the far right irrevocably.
the far left is what is dominating the left atleast in social media and it’ll push the moderates who’re in large numbers to those in center right.
if you care about elections, government policies, how society is structured, you’ll worry about this.
how do you get things done for people is what politics is all about.
making moderates understand and convincing them to join your ranks is how you do it.
your revolution and all won’t work here. so how do you do this non violently and politically in a democracy? by convincing people.
now good luck convincing them.
when people are afraid, they turn more conservative. when they’re radicalized, they won’t hear moderate positions. it’s gonna be a hard time for everyone from there.
if you think those aren’t your problems and you want internet points, sure go ahead.
this is why i warned against labelling. you labeled the mildest stuff and forgot that the worst existed. now its gonna surface like bile from deep inside your gut and it’s gonna be super nasty.
like how tf did nick fuentes grow super popular? you’ve zero idea how far the groypers have grown.
however you know about hitler? they’re 10x worser than that, i’ve seen them talk and discuss how even hitler was moderate in some of his views and why he lost. you’ve zero idea on what they propagate.
as i’ve always said, always feel free to disagree. being intellectually honest to yourself and constantly updating your priors is very important.
i’ve friends in every political direction. the left, the right, the communists, everyone. here? yes from dmk, admk, ntk..
i talk with them freely. thats what friends are for.
