be me. one day alumni from an old school who was working there reach out to me to educate the teachers there on something that they need. i go there and see the school at a bad state. the best teachers have all left to other schools which is giving them better pay. i become sad. check the other school that i studied. turns out that they sold that school to our arch nemesis neighborhood school with whom we used to compete and look down on state rankings, pass % and sports. they’ve changed our name to theirs. sad that one school is erased from my resume. don’t want this school too to face the same fate. now i want to save this school from facing a similar fate. i think of a plan, made some calls to even muster capital to save that school if it ever goes into bankruptcy. meanwhile this school gets in touch with me through my alumni to raise funds for an inter-school basketball competition. i immediately gave a commitment to almost 15% of the total funds to be raised and also promised to bridge the difference if they can’t complete their raise from the rest of the alumni. they come back with exact amount required for three of their primary expenses and i immediately wrote a check to cover the complete amount of their biggest expense which is more than my initial committed amount. then i got ghosted. they didn’t even send invites to the event for which they raised funds from me. i hear about it after it ends. turns out that they used my funds for something else for which i didn’t fund and said we’re going put his company’s logo in those which i didn’t fund, for more reach. excuse me? i didn’t ask for it. what reach is going to help me with little school kids? now i am enraged. i just want to accelerate their path towards bankruptcy so fast that i can buy them, raze it to the ground and turn it into everything that they didn’t stand for. i’ll erase them myself from my resume. turns out some are bad because they’re meant to be and they’re irredeemable. thank you for your attention to this matter.
