another recommendation that I'd love parents to do to their kids is,
have a read aloud session with them where you read for them and they listen chapter by chapter, one chapter a day (or few pages a day - improve as you see progress)
or if they can read - let them read. hand them over a dictionary and a thesaurus.
i'll post a bunch of books you can give them to read or you can read with them.
every single book is designed to teach kids new words, take them to a while different world, improve vocabulary, and give them interest to learn new things - automatically bringing their interest towards what they like to learn in STEM next.
the program (as mentioned as above) is designed to increase the attention span of the learner and increase their ability to absorb vast quantity of information as they progress.
here's the recommendation from my g-keep notes. feel free to take a screenshot. actually, even adults can read them all.
please do get them a hardcopy to read. or if you can't afford, take printouts from internet and give it to your kid.
one book at a time. please ?
if you start a book series, finish it before going to the next.
please do not jump books. keep me updated on the first few instances of your kid's behavior towards this activity and how they are going forward as they progress.
keep a note on their creativity, what they talk, how they talk, what they do and see before/after.
feel free to update/ping me.
and who created these the parenting coaches ? absolute piece of shit.
'most' of them are contributing towards raising a dumb generation and i have no idea on how you sleep peacefully when you skim money from parents who seriously want the best for their kids and actually make them retarded too in the whole process ?
i am absolutely angry at the current system that i am about to turn Genghis Khan and multiply kids everywhere.
bam bam bam. left, right and centre.
we have abysmally lower birth:death ratio. combine that with decrease in IQ (definition under debate) and near to zero attention skills,
you're seeing the first few steps of human devolution and the species' fall.
[a qualification: the jump from dissatisfaction with parenting advice to human devolution is not established here. a case for reading together does not require claims that children or an entire generation are becoming less intelligent.]
