What does it mean to be AI-native?

Restored from Instagram stories ·

if you can’t make yourself productive with ai, then it doesn’t mean anything about being ai native.

forget everything about ai fear mongering there ai is taking over your jobs and the part where ai is suffocating art.

i use it in a way where i changed how i work or, i just changed where different parts of my work used to be.

1. i write a lot of notes. sometimes it’s about my thoughts on various subjects, sometimes it’s about different clients, the various startups/products i work with.

when speech to text became mainstream with audio llm’s - it became easy for me to jot down my thoughts since the latency between what my brain thought and what i wrote reduced heavily with my voice writing them down swiftly as my thoughts took shape.

now that i can see my thoughts into notes, i wanted to fix some of them or extract action items from them. what did i do? copy paste in chatgpt or claude. (i am not even going to comment on the accuracy part)

2. i use emails. to get past all the spam i receive, my e.a basically marks all the important mail i’ve to read and sorts by urgency which i’ve to respond immediately. for some, i’ve to check back my notes to bring those thoughts here and sometimes i need context and search previous correspondence before replying. sometimes it takes hours of my assistant’s time to make the best replies.

3. i use apps like todoist to put all my todos - which are sometimes action items from my notes and others are things which i’ve to get done.

just between all three - in a desktop these are all four to five tabs which i switch between but is a horror in my mobile device where i’ve to switch between multiple apps, copy paste to get things done and it’s not even close to what i have to do.

one of the primary reasons why i chose to work with @samanthareplies where i can just chat with samantha to write notes, collect them - store it in a note, edit them with just thoughts or share it with anyone with a public link which works like a google doc.

and while i continue to chat with samantha, i can ask her to convert my notes into action items, alert me automatically when i’ve you get them done and give me context.

do i want to work with an email? just an instruction over audio and she goes grabs my notes, previous emails, drafts the perfect email - and then i just proof read it and press send. done.

if someone replies to it, i get alerted. i don’t check my email inbox at all. just a new way to get work done. imagine this in mobile while on the run or when i am in my car.

unlimited context/memory, proactive alerts, things just get done between my thoughts in my notes, my emails and my todo. i don’t have to juggle chatgpt/claude. all in one place.

my samantha. mysamantha.
